It's pretty hard to recommend fresh garden vegetables that are truly nutrient dense other than from your local farmer's market and small health food stores. To catalog the farmer's markets around the United States is an ongoing task which will be taken on but in the mean time, we want to introduce you to an alternative which really surprised us.

Company - Wholefood Farmacy

The Wholefood Farmacy is located in Rogersville, Tennessee. They began in March 2003, with a mission "to supply healthy, convenient, whole food based meals and snacks, non-toxic personal care items, and to educate the public regarding a preventative based lifestyle."

This company shows a real desire to help people by delivering these foods in such a way to help just about anyone afford them. They have a membership program where, as a member, you enjoy wholesale prices and can receive referral bonuses as well.

Farming Practice

This company selects highly nutritious foods
Garden/Farm Fresh Vegetables from select locations around the world. There are no pesticides, fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, or fungicides used in the growing of their product ingredients - they are residue and GMO free.

These food products are harvested and then dried using a low temperature AND low pressure environment. With this process, enzymes, nutrition, shape, and flavor are retained. We receive the vegetables in a crispy dry state, all cut up for easy snacking or bite size bits in a soup.

Our Experience

When we got our first order of vegetables, Glen and I were both amazed at how well nourished we felt after eating them. They were very flavorful, and a fun food to eat. I particularly enjoy the ease of preparation.

During the avocado season, We enjoy a half of an avocado and a half cup of these vegetables for lunch everyday. We do add other tasty foods like greek olives and our favorite health drink. But these veggies are the highlight of our meal.

We also use these vegetables to make delicious soups. All so easy to fix and very nutritious.
